Hey all

Well I finally got Quake III working with my TNT 2 Ultra in Windows 2000 (long story). When running Quake III in smp I don't see really an improvement in fps but it seems to me that visually it looks better running on dual processors. I'm running the Nvidia 3.76 drivers(only ones I got working so far....detonator 3 drivers crashed). I may try the The Detonator 2 drivers yet tonight to see if I get a performance increase. If I had a newer videocard dual cpu's may have have made a difference in fps but with this TNT2 Ultra....SMP does not seem to give an increase in fps. BTW I'm running dual PIII 600E's at 800. Comments? Suggestions?

Well you know the funny thing is I spent over 1.5 hours on the phone with a Microsoft tech and he still couldn't figure out. I finally by chance landed at a site that told me to delete something out of the registry. Not being sure if it would help or make the problem worse I did it anyway. Reinstalled Quake III and voila everything worked like a charm. Now I just got to get a hold of Half-Life so I can play some Counterstrike!
