How to Speed up a ATI 9000 Pro 128MB?

Hi All

Following a previous post, I was wandering if there is any known ways to speed up the ATI 9000 Pro?

Just to recap..... My graphics are SLOW when I try and run NBA2k3, almost like im running the game on a Pentium 1!

Im running a P4 2.4, 512 Ram, 128 ATI 9000 Pro, Asus P4PE MoBo.

I cant really play the game at all as the slow down is so bad. I have tried -

1) Updating Drivers
2) Lowering Resolution in game
3) Updating Direct X

My brother was able to run it fine on his 2.4 system. He was running a 64mb Geforce card at Max settings and it was extremely smooth!

The only difference is that my borther is running Windows XP and Im running ME, would this make a difference?

Thanks for any help.

Karl

What gf does he have. It may be faster than your card. You can overclock your card to amek it faster if thats what you are after. Some ATi ccards require workarounds to OC them though. Windows version shouldnt make a big difference. Is Ati releasing new cats for ME? That is the only thing. They got the cat3.2's for ME?
