Voodoo card/ Soldier of Fortune MEGA tweak!

Originally this was a code to use in Quake3a to show the potential of the V5 using HSR. I tried it in Soldier of Fortune for 5 minutes and did not see the graphical errors that were present in Quake 3, but I noticed a HUGE improvement in speed and smoothness in it(1024x768x2xfsaa)! As it was I gained over 10fps in Quake 3 with this beta.bat! Important notes; I tried this on a V5 5500agp/WinMe/850MHz Athlon/256megs of ram/DX8(required)/the latest WHQL drivers from 3dfx (104)(they have the HSR stuff in them)/

The tweak;
Open notepad, cut and paste the following;

@ECHO OFF
SET FX_GL_HSR=1
SET FX_GL_ZCULL_ENABLE=1
SET FX_GL_ZCULL_FAR=32767
SET FX_GL_ZCULL_NEAR=4
sof.exe

save this file to the same folder as your sof.exe file. Rename it to "beta.bat", choose yes to change it.

Run the .bat file

This shouldn't make any permanent changes to your game, and you should see a performance gain. I guess that this should work on V3 and above, should work better on a faster CPU, and it requires (to my knowledge) DX8, and the drivers including HSR support. I would try other OGL games at this time with this as well. If anyone knows how to bench SOF, please let me know
