Do you have a thriving colony of dust bunnies inside?

You did not say what games or what else the machine does, but games typically increase heat (3d cards really do not do much with spreadsheets, but during games the heat is on!) so if your fans/vents are covered in dust you could be seeing a heat problem.

or

Did this start after a new install (hard or software) or did it kinda just start?

Hello M.M,

Your issue could deal with Overheating, Bad RAM, Faulty Video Card Drivers, Weak Power Supply, etc

You need to go into your BIOS and check your CPU/system temps and report back.

Who manufactered your RAM?
