Windows 2000 & Gaming
Anyone here still use or use Windows 2000 and game? I want to install this OS on my new system, but want to make sure it is compatible with all, or most of the older games and of course, the newer titles released. Anyone know of any known issues?

I run win2k with UT2003, UT, Serious Sam, along with my wife’s casino games and various card games. No problems whatsoever. Currently using an Epox 8k5a2+ board with an xp 2000+ and 1024 of ram; video card is an ati 9500 pro.
I have both os and prefer win2k just because it is not as cute looking as xp. |

I use windows 2000 and so far I haven't notice any problems in gaming, although I am not to much of gamer (Diablo II, Links 2003, and Morrowind).

www.ntcompatible.com and check there to see if the games you wanna play can run in Win2k.

I would run it over xp due the mem footprint. If only nvidia had ata100 drivers for the nforce mobo. I think it would be faster than xp, but not too sure.
