Red Faction II
From the Warp2 site:
Volition: has issued a new patch for Red Faction II, upgrading the English edition of their recent sci-fi first-person shooter to version 1.01. This release tweaks the Team Arena "Best Of" feature, reduces CPU usage when minimized, and allows the English version to run on German and French operating systems. Patches for those language editions are expected soon. When did this come out? for PC- I haven't seen it or heard anything aobut it. I liked RFI and would like to see RFII. |

There is a PC version AFAIK. It has been out for a couple of months now. Unless the web site where I purchase my games is wrong.

thats what i thought. i hadn't seen it in best buy anywhere. i knew they would ship it around the time of the xbox release, because hey, an Xbox is just a watered down PC, am i right? yes, i am.

yea, they never make that clear enough nk. they always say, "get a copy NOW!" nad in small letters it says, "game ships DEC 2009".

Now the site I listed above says it ships on 4/8/03- anyone know if it has actually shipped? Xbox and PS2 versions have gotton good reviews and I'm ready for a new FPS.

Its out now- picked up a copy last night. It looks and feels like a port- nothing like NOLF2- but it is fun to play. Having sound problems though- everything sounds really strange- like computer generated speech.

At least the PS2 has multiplayer- there is no multiplayer on PC version- its has the DM levels but you can only play with bots that are rather easy to beat

the bots in any game aren't as good as a skilled human.
