Talking need help again

One of I think a few Deer Hunter fans here was trying to reinstall Deer Hunter 4 tonight and all went well then went to start game and says unable to intialize hardware accerlarator and tells me to try to set color to high 16bit or start in fullscreen mode i played this game before on my pc before I "THINK" its to do with my driver file for my Voodoo3 pci card it says its unsigned and when go to 3dfx hub thingy heheh it says direct 3d not availble any ideas really appreciated

Dont worry about the forum, you posted in the right place

Things I would recommend:
1. COMPLETLY uninstall it, and try a fresh reinstall and make sure you download the latest drivers for the game.

2. Contact the game maker and report you problem to their tech support.

3. Make sure there are no programs running that might interfere with the installation, i.e. Norton A/V, MaCafee Virus Scan etc., etc...

Thats should fix your problem.
