Passmark gets my vote as an all encompassing bench that takes little time, fits on a floppy.
How can ya beat that?

They all have free downloads however the 3Dmark and PCMark have limited functionality and Passmark has a 30 day trial.

I was a bit annoyed when I installed 3DMark03 and found almost all functionality had been removed. Heck, you can't select which tests you want to run, or even choose to loop it! For that reason, I really use 3DMark2001SE for testing purposes.

The tools are ok-but thier benchmark pc's are not that up to date. My pc was fast in every aspect except the 3d card. The fastest they have is a p4 2.2ghz-i think

I delete and reinstall all the time, same with Raxco perfectdisk disk defrag ute, a free download, and one of the best defrags out there. 30 days up? Hmm time to delete and reinstall.
