Vietcong
Has anyone played this? I'm looking forward to picking it up from EB, it seems like a realistic FPS in the 'Rainbow Six' vein.

I played the demo version, pretty fun. The demo is only MP, so I dunno how good the one player story line will be, but it sounds like alot of people are excited for it.

Seen the first level at a friend's home, not impressed that much, but don't know, maybe the game gets better later.

I got it yesterday, my kids claim it is better than Mafia, they were playing it from 10am Sunday morning to 11pm the evening. (12 years old) I must admit that i did not see the age reccomendation at the back of the case (18) and the langauge in the training is a bit rough!

Vietcong is truely a great game. It has a good single player part, but it is in multiplayer that this game really shines. It is a tactical FPS game at the action end of the scale. I can honestly say that it’s one of the best games, I have ever played. I play in a quite high ranking Vietcong clan and have clocked over 300 hours playing the game online. In my opinion it’s a must buy for people who are looking for a fast paced tactical FPS game.

can anyone tell me about when this game came out in us or uk? i live in belgium and we usually have to wait 2-3 weeks or (much) longer before new games get here
a good friend of me has been asking me for weeks if if i have seen the game available or so . btw alienware, i played mafia several times, what would you say isnt suitable for a 12 year old? it certainly isnt worse than the godfather movies or so. i was playin games like wolfenstein, doom and all that from when i was 10-11 years (23 now) . I think id have more problems with kids playin games like vietcong, sof2 and the likes (i absolutely loved sof2 myself btw. its gore level was as surprising as back when i first played doom
