PassMark/Direct X question
I just loaded DX9 and went to do a test with passmark but the 3D
tests failed. It said I have no 3d acceleration. So I went to the DxDiag to do the Direct 3D and Direct Draw test and got this error: DDraw Test Result: All tests were successful. D3D7 Test Result: All tests were successful. D3D8 Test Result: Failure at step 5 (GetDeviceCaps): HRESULT = 0x8876086a (3D not available) D3D9 Test Result: All tests were successful. Anyone seen this? I'll try reinstalling and let you know if that works, I did have trouble with the Splinter Cell demo, It wouldn't let me play it. you can install DX9 off the splinter cell CD, i got something like that when i downloaded the DX9 loader
