its like the PS2 but when a more variety and better controls and better graphics.
i dont know about the matrix, but reading it in PCGamer made me want to buy it...you should see the graphics on that thing, this wasnt some 1 month game they spent the time since they started the reloaded movie. they had 2 groups split up, 1 for the movies and one for games and they use the director of the crouchjing tiger hidden dragon and they took the moves into a green room to make the game as accurate as possible...

Yeeah...the Matrix sounds amazing.

They said that is supposed to have incredibly immersive gameplay, like being able to shoot out every ceiling tile, and knock over every table. They also said that it isn't just a game to go along with the movie, but, you have to play the game to understand more of the Matrix series. Now, I don't know if that's just a sales gimmick to get you to buy it, but, I don't think that makes much of a difference; I'm still gonna' get it.

Im sure you'll enjoy Vice City. I have it for the ps2... and it'll just be better on computer I assume... enjoy, although I always thought the plot was cheesy... but its fun to play so no complaints from me. You'll notice the difference between gta 3 and vice city right away.

Well I pre-ordered "Enter The Matrix" I can't wait till it arrives!! I hope its as amazing as it looks! I'll be sure to let you all know

Oh yeah..I noticed in the list of requirment it says it needs DX9. What other games use DX9 as of right now? Is the matrix the first game that requires it? I'm glad I have a GFX card that supports DX9

Yeah..I saw the GF2 would play the game. But wouldn't a DX9 card play the game the best, Totally utilizing DX9??

Well, its May 15th, who's got it? First impressions? I am very curious to see if it lives up to the hype.

Does anyone know the game requirements, I wonder if I'll have enough to play it smoothly.

I love relatives!
Enter the Matrix just landed on my desk, courtesy of my Aunt!
Minimum requirements: 800 MHz, 128mb ram, 4.3 GB ( 7200 RPM ) HDD space, CD 4X, DX9, Gf2 .
Recommended : 1.2 GHz, 256 mb ram, Radeon 8500
Not that hard to make, I hope the game lives up to the PR.
Almost forgot, that EAX sound thing.
Enjoy !

Thanks a bunch Pam. I meet the requirements, but barely (GF2). I think I'll hold off on buying it until I get my 9700.

Spyda,
I'll have to look but I'm fairly sure that I have the Maximum PC issue that was dedicated to setting up surround sound with various speaker combinations ( Alienware_Dude might have it as well ) and various sound cards.
I'll post back if I can find it.

Yeah and I heard the producers of the Matrix the movie trilogy developed the game as well. So that will make it better. At first I was thinking of not getting it, becaust most games based after movied I didn't like too well. But Enter the Matrix looks pretty promising.

I just learned today that Grand Theft Auto : Vice City is available on PC. But I am most certain when I was interested in buying that many months ago it was only available on gaming platfors like X-Box and PS2. Am I wrong?

"What is introduced for this patch compared to the retail version:
Cleaner graphics during gameplay and cineractives.
New "Matrix Options Screen" that gives the user many more options.
The user can Alt-Tab to switch to another application during gameplay.
EAX option now works properly."

yea, im currently downloading the patch while my brother is playing it, and the moves and everything are awesome, it has to be the coolest game i think ive played, it just screams MATRIX at the top of it voice, how cool is goignt into focus mode (matrix bullet time mode), running up a wall, backflipping off the wall and fly kicking a gaurd in the haed, sending him in a sideways flip?

ill tell you

VERY COOL!!!
if it looks this good on my brothers 1Ghz, i cant wait to install my copy

also, if you have seen the animatrixs, there are 4 now, the game ties in exactly with them

brilliant

Well I finnaly got around to playing the Matrix. I've had it a couple of days but been busy..grrrr. Anway..this game ROCKS! The graphics are just awesome!

Spyda, where can I find those animatrixs? Are they downloadable?

It's taking me a little while to get used to this game. The character moves so fast. Oh man the moves are awesome as well. I love kicking the guards across the floor when I knock them down! LOL

Great Game!
