Catalyst 3.4 ? Do I need it?

How is the new cat 3.4 drivers working out for everyone who has them? I'm running the 3.0 drivers right now. Should I upgrade?
Also, If I reinstall the drivers should I reinstall DX9 as well. Or should I get DX9.0a?

The problem with any video drivers is that they will not perform in the same way on every system. That's why you get one guy saying "great", the second saying "no change", and the third swearing they destroyed his system.

The only way to find out is to try them. If they work well and increase performance and have no compatiblity issues, then keep them. Alternatively, if performance/compatiblity decreases, then revert back to the last good set you used.

It really is trial and error on individual systems.

Thanks, I already downloaded 'em. The reason I asked for a link is because I checked for new Catalysts yesterday, and they weren't there, so I was wondering is this was a 'beta' release of some sort.
