I just watched both, and I am awestruck. Seeing the animation from Doom3 in action, as opposed to the screenshots I've seen just brings it home that it will truly be a genre-defining game. The HL trailer was cool, but I wish it showed more gameplay. I am very psyched about these games, even though I'll need another computer to play them

Watched the DooM III movie yesterday!! Looks like it will be as scary as the original!! I'm liking it !!
Tried Propaine link (Thanks Propaine ! ) for Half Life, but it wouldn't play.... I guess I need DivX drivers... I'm running Win 98.2 and WMP 6.4 (can you say antique?). Any ideas on where to get them for WPM 6.4??TIA TwoRails |

I just watched the new HL Trailer.
It looks inredible. I love that everything in the environment can be used to your advantage. This is definetly a must buy.

half life 2....wow....I think about 90% of the stuff in the trailer is moveable, shootable, etc. The engine on this game looks great and no scripting! All play!

I'm definetly getting HL2. I think is so sweet how you can interact with just about everything. I loved the part in the video when he moved the table in front of the door so the monsters outside couldn't get it. I was amazed and sold when I saw that. Heck, I just might preorder it.

Are there any system requirements out yet for HL2? Any idea if a Radeon 9500 and an Athlon 1700+ (oc'ed to 2.0 ghz) will run it?
