problem with games
I recently reformatted my HD and reinstalled my OS (98se) and now I start to play games and about 5 minutes in to them they quit and it goes back to the desktop but the game music is still playing. This is happening everytime i try to play a game.
Could I of downloaded older drivers and that be the cause? |

I just updated the drivers to what I had before I reformatted my harddrive and the games still stop and go back to the desktop. What could be going on?

Did you install the drivers for your video card? Check in system properties if its recognizing all your hardware.

They were the drivers for my video card and it is recognized by everything

What are your system specs? Did you install your mainboard drivers?

sounds like a Directx problem.......try reinstall dx.
