BF1942 Updates..

well the new desert comabt version is now out..

verions .38 which is compatable with BF V1.4. check it out www.desertcombat.com

they did a great job on this update.. Much better than ever before. and it should be sence the file is 326MB.


also EAGames and Dice have announced that they are making a game called BattleField Vietnam which should be out early 2004.

EoD is just a mod. Itll keep us going till this new expansion (SEcret Weapons) is released in the fall. But Vietnam looks cool . Official versions are always better than mods. Mods are fun thought.

yea offical expansions are always better.. but it kinda disipoints me that EAgame and Dice would make a game that they know will be better than EOD after EOD has been out and worked so long on it.. Oh well i guess EA and Dice have the right to do it.. i mean they did make BF1942..

Did you try the new .38 patch for Desert Combat? Very very nice. I loaded it up yesterday and was truly amazed. Played for 5 hours straight eheheh

yes the new DC is very nice.. almost everything has new sound effects. including the radio.. that ist he neatest part i think.. i guess all the sound is why it was a 300+mb download..

thats all great for people with broadband, i only got a 56k connection and went to download it and though, NUP!! would of taken me over 24 hrs

Why not ask a neigbor to download it for you or a computer store geek. Itll fit nicely on a CD.
