What's the difference between the two and how do you tell which number is accurate?
Mostly, I go by real-world performance, but I just thought it would be interesting to see how the 3dmark prog runs.

WEll Both are accurate.........But to actually use the numbers ...you must compare your numbers to simular systems and see what they have scored. to see if your computer is performing how it should.

3DMark03 places more emphasis on DX9 features; if a video card doesn't support DX9 features through hardware(Like a Ti 4600)it will score very low, whereas a Radeon DX9-ready card will score higher, even if the Radeon scores lower in 3DMark01.

yea, i get about 12,000 in 01, but in 03 i get about 1600
all because of the Ti4200, the program is stupid |
