The company is being liquidated. Creditors are lining up for miles. If you're a 3dfx shareholder, you have my pity.

nVIDIA stock will take a hit when the actual purchase goes through, since the cash they'll have to shell out for the deal will hurt profits for a few quarters. 3dfx stockholders will end up with nothing after creditors get paid.
