Did anybody see the previews of the new playstation psx? It's the same as the playstation 2 but you can record dvd's and record stuff from the tv like tivo, plus there's is many more hookups to hook up about anything to it. Tell me what you guys think of it if you've seen it?

Just search for it, it is pretty old news. I think it was announced before E3.

I think it looks like crap personally. The idea is a poor marketing strategy as well. No one is going to buy a stand alone DVD ripper/Tivo "piece". (piece as in slang for POS). It will have a slow burner to save Sony some $$$ and a Tivo feature that people will never use. What a dumb idea....

PS2 is good enough, why create a demented, compromised take on the PS3? The smart folks aren't buying it, Sony.

yea i agree with you DilLy! Sony is money hungry, not in a good way. what are they going to put in the ps3? they are just trying to hold people off or get more people to go with playstation. which its ok to get people to buy your product, but get them to do it by the quality of what your selling, not a name and marketing techniques. i mean its the same system! come on sony, get a life!
