Help for cs...
Well, I have halflife legit from stores and all, but when i try to play online, it gives me a WON authentication error. What should I do?

Have you tried reinstalling CS? Or go to a different server see what happens? Also you should try to change the tab on the top right corner that says Connection and put it to what connection you are using at the moment.

Yeah, and for me i had to download and install a 103 mb patch for Counter-Strike in order to play online with others..

Could be that the master WON server is down, that happens from time to time. So try a different server and if you still get the same result, try it again later or...
Try deleting your entire AUTH folder then you'll have to enter your cd-key again. c:\sierra\half-life\auth or c:\sierra\counter-strike\auth If that doesn't work then unistall half life and delete the \half-life folder, then reinstall. If all fails, you should return it and buy another copy and make sure it's new. |
