3DMark03 - video card perfermance only?
Here is an interesting article that shows that 3DMark03 is only benchmarking video card performance- because a system with a PII 350 benchmarks almost as fast as a system with a P4 2.8 GHz when both systems are using a Radeon 9700.

On the other hand- if the article is accurate, then how come when I overclock my processor my 3DMark03 scores goes up? Shouldn't make any difference if the article is correct.
Also, looking at the "Post your 3DMark03 score" thread- people with faster processors than mine- but the same video card (ATI 9500 Pro) post faster scores than mine (1619 with AMD XP 1600) Last edited by Prew; 08-02-2003 at 09:45 AM. |

I used to worry aboot that too a while back but when I noticed it was all aboot the cards then I removed 3dmark from my PC and said the hell with it. If it runs nice then just leave it.
