I don't play it. I can't stand it. I don't like football and don't see how watching a buch of guys run around is fun. But that's me.

i love football, but i do not like the Madden Series. I like the NCAA version much, much better! I was disapointed with the Madden '99 game and i thought it went downhill from there. Just my opinion

LOL! That's most games - ie Battlefield 1942.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this one. I've played every year's version since 1998, except 2002, which for some reason had all kinds of errors on my pc. EA gave me credit towards that purchase, which bought MOHAA.

What I mean is in my experience there isn't much human involvment. Aside from choosing the play, you can pretty much sit back and watch it. It's boring.

You control every movement of the player with the ball, even the players without the ball. I dunno.....if you're not American, I can understand where you're coming from, but if you are and are a football fan then you need to rent this game ASAP!

Note: Preordered mine to get it tuesday morning. w00t w00t PC version pwnz all.

Ah yeah, they don't offer that on the PC so I couldn't get that one or I probably would.

I enjoy baseball as well and playoff hockey....

I guess to like football you really have to live in a football town.

Yea, I didn't even have a video game system of any kind in '94! ha. I played madden at friends houses back in the day.

I hear it won't be out for PC next year? Is this true? I guess I'll have to buy a PS2 come that time.

I rented NCAA Football 2004 last night and must admit it is quite amazing. I was a fan of 2003 but they made some nice improvements. The in-game stuff is similar, some improvements here in there with graphics and things, but the biggest improvements are seen with the dynasty mode. It was awesome. Week by week there would be a Sports Illustrated cover talking about the lastest College Football story. It was very impressive. You get offers to join new conferences, and you can turn a small program into a big one with recruiting. Definitly worthwhile to buy or rent this title. Tonight or tomorrow I plan on purchasing Madden 2004.

I had Madden '93 on my Genesis. That game rocked, even though you couldn't play a season or trade players. Madden '94 had better graphics, but wasn't quite as much fun to play. It wasn't as easy to complete passes. I had Madden '99 for Playstation and I'd rack up 200+ rush yards even with a mediocre RB and almost no passing yards. Then I bought Madden 2000 for the PC which was a mixed bag. The gameplay was pretty good, but the interface for tradeing and creating players was so poorly set up that it was almost unusable.

I guess I just kind of miss Madden '93.

Oh...I almost forgot...Go Bucs!!!

Yes!!! Just played the Demo for Madden '04. Awsome graphics and gameplay. This one plays the best of any of the recent games. I got good frame rates, even on my aging system. The only annoying thing I found is that the computer likes to run the clock down which sucks with one minute quarters!! They could at least let us play 3 minute quarters! Oh well... I think this one is on my list anyway!

Did anyone actually buy and play the retail version yet? I missed out on getting it for $25 at BB a couple weeks ago. It's $39.99 almost everywhere, now, but I just may be willing to pick it up if its good enough.
