My wife let me open this gift early.
 Just started playing the bots to get a feel of the maps. totally cool, some of the maps are rather large in one flag ctf, but worth the $30 IMO. Later

Is Q3 Team Arena a Add On to Q3 or a new Q3 ? I have played the demo but not the real thing.

It's an add-on, you must have the full version of Q3 arena.
Was playing CTF online last night, had a couple 3wave maps modified, man that was cool. |

Yeah CTF in Quake III is fun online...can't wait to get back to playing it when I get my new videocard. BTW...just wondering did you ever send me that cd cob? Thanks.

ugh be warned that I have found team arena to be even more a hog than Q3. I can play Q3 fine but team arena I cant even play. too choppy.

I also found out I get 5-10 fps less in TA than in Q3. weird.
