Recommend RTS military/historical game

I've been on BF1942 for a long time, and I need a good RTS for a change of pace. I used to play the AOE series and a little Cossex. Beyond that, I haven't gotten into RTS too much. Recommend away, and give brief explanation of the scenario. Thanks.

Nate

Command and Conquer: Generals - You get to command one of the 3 of the worlds super powers. You can go online and battle against other people...Its pretty cool.

WarCraft III - You get to be one of 4 forces, the Human/Orc/Elf or Undead. Lots of different maps, you can go online with it as well.

Disciples 2: Dark Prophecy - Basically its like WarCraftIII, just a little darker. You can get online with it too.

Rise of Nations - I heard it was pretty cool...

Hope it helps.

I started playing WC3 a few days ago, it is pretty fun, but it really isn't straight up RTS anymore, but close enough.

The original Command & Conquer and its sequel, Tiberian Sun. To me they are still the best RTS games.

Thanks for the recommendations. I think WC3 is too much fantasy for my liking. I think I'll check those out, Nuc. Should be able to find them in the bargain bin at Best Buy .

Any more?
