Flashed my BIOS to 1008 from 1005, OC'd 5%, when I ran 3Dmark2001se, I got msg similar to this at different stopping points each time:
could not initiate 3d accelerator, downgrade display values, Fatal Error, blah blah blah When I ran it initially on same settings (1024x768, 32 bit) without overclock, I got score of 10368. So, I backed processor down to standard, 3Dmark ran fine again on those settings, but I got score of 8363... What be the problem? Does that mean my system's not even stable at 5% overclock? Why the reduction in score? Would the BIOS upgrade affect that?
