Unhappy

I have installed the ATI Rage Fury Pro in my computer. The first two games I installed keep freezing my computer. I have a Tyan S2380 MB with a 650 athlon CPU. I have installed all the latest drivers for MB and Rage Pro. Can anybody give me some advice?

What OS?

And if Win9x, do you have the latest VIA 4 in 1 drivers installed?

I am running Windows ME. I have installed the 4in1 drivers. I have also installed the latest drivers from ATI.

Next question, what games have you tried?

For instance, if you had a Voodoo card before, and had Unreal Tournament set to run in Glide, then swapped video cards, it would crash, since the ATI card won't support Glide.

Also what games, because WinME won't likely work with older DOS mode games, nor will Win2k, because of the lack of DOS mode drivers.

The games are Heavy Gear 2 and Need for Speed High Stakes,CDRoms. I built this system so this is the only video card that has been installed.

On my one system, I have an AIW Pro (Rage Pro chipset) and I had to download one of their "special purpose" drivers as I was getting random lockups. It's an unsupported driver by ATI, but it works for ME.
