unable to join CS game
everytime i click Quickstart to get into a game... it takes forever and i get bak to the menu screen where it says that I couldnt connect to the game server. I have an up to date version of Counter Strike and I'm on a T1 network. Whats the problem???

Why don't you just try to go to Internet Games instead of quickstart. Try that and see what happens and post back.

it goes to a different screen where it says 'initializing and downloading' above a bar but it takes forever to download and even if it does, it just starts downloading all over again.

go to counter-strike.net, and you can find tons of links to d/l cs

Try to search google for the patch because counter-strike.net has many sites that you must register for in order to allow the download.

just a tip:
go to game www.gametiger.com and search for servers in your area, so you get the best performance. say you live in ohio, search for ohio and it will give you all servers in ohio. ^dan |
