Now here is something I wolud like to know, is it true that AGP is on the way out for some PCI express?
Second, on the best settings, using AA and AF on the fastest cards, and playing recently released games-that use lots of GPU, is the frame rates playable? I do not know, still have not changed my card yet.

i'll give you some quick answers if ya need them, and i'll let others fill in all the details.
1. Yes AGP will be replaced by PCI Express 2. Depends on the game. Some games run fine w/ everything maxed out and others, like splinter cell, can have problems.

This thread is from rage3d : http://www.rage3d.com/board/showthre...eadid=33710036
There is something going on with AA and AF in DX9. There's also the comparison between the 9600pro and the 5900ultra. The pro isn't taking the frame rate hits I'd expect. I don't know if that's an error or not and I'm waiting till all the full reviews, not just the previews, come out to decide. I don't have an article on PCI Express replacing AGP but it sounds like the sort of thing you could Google.

thanks-did that. More like its intel's plan. I think its stll too early, and there will be more greater cards than the 9800pro.
