Anyone playing this?- Game looks really great (requires DX9). However, it's not a great game, merely a better than average one that may serve as a diversion until HL2 and Doom 3 and the new Jedi Knight games come out (if they aren't dissapointments like Unreal 2- infact this game is better than Unreal 2).
The game is smooth- although some scattered clipping problems (I've got stuck in staircases twice), and the anction can be intense. |

Yes Prew,
I've played and quite enjoyed it. http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.p...ghlight=Chaser As you say, a stopgap until the big, bad boys arrive. It's been a pretty lean year for good single-player FPSs. TwoRails It's arrived. Now you can play it.

Ok, I didn't see that post- except for the annoying clipping I haven't seen any bugs.
Almost done with it- but seems inconsistent- great fire fights- but that level under water is boring. Best looking and sounding game I've played- if this is the future then HL2 and others should be quite an experience |

You said it.
The future of "great" single-player FPSs rests now on the shoulders of HL2 and Doom3. The big question is whether Valve can actually surpass the original. It's a very hard act to follow. |
