Cool game, been playing since Christmas. Kinda hard to get used to w/ just keyboard and mouse, didn't feel like insalling my game pad just for this, but it was good anyway.

Awesome game! I reviewed it over at Maximum3D, and I loved it. I am playing with a full HOTAS set-up, which makes it pretty easy to control.

Just wondering, padawan have you reviewed Red Alert 2 over there yet? If so what you think of it?

padawan, I take it the "HOTAS" is some kind of controller or a system? Or were you just leaving out a letter to get your post in here? Heh,heh, heh.

Yea, I should have reinstalled my game pad, but by the time I did all that, I might have lost interest in the game.

The vid's were ok, and the plot usual, but some of the action was tough. The special's were pretty good in my opinion too, like the Jump jet's, and alot of the weapon's fire.

The first time I saw an Atlas firing at me in the campaign was cool, made me make sure to stay behind him, and hit them in the back side. Didn't want to be on the recieving end of the PPC's, and the Gauss rifle .

Heh, yeah actually there is a device called the H.O.T.A.S.S., it's for holding a joystick and throttle when playing...

HOTAS stands for Hands On Throttle And Stick, and it comes from the flight sim world. I use the Saitek X-36 HOTAS, which has a stick, throttle, and rudder control, and something like 250 possible button configs...awesome unit. Check it out here:

It's about $89, and is honestly the best controller I have ever used. Makes MW4 sweet, because I have torso twist, throttle, etc, all without touching the keyboard.

Just noticed my post from earlier is not up...weird. Anyway, here are some links to reviews of RA2 and MW4 over at Maximum3D. Both are good games, although I am partial to the action in MW4.
