Question Driving gamepad

I want to get F1 99-02, but I would prefer a nice gamepad to a steering wheel when it comes to driving games. The only gamepad I have right now is an old MS sidewinder, and I want to buy something with an analog stick that will work well with driving games. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

hey looney, you made a little mistake there, its an other person we both know that owns that thrustmaster, but he doesnt have internet.
i have a logitech wingman rumblepad, which i am very happy with. its a very good quality thingie (dropped it several times by accident, still works and looks as new.)
never had any driver or other probs with it, and almost every game supports it perfectly.

and they dont cost that much, if i remember correct, i've had mine for quite a while now.
