Question Demos on CDs...

I subscribe to PC Gamer and MaximumPC and I have an 'on and off' relationship with their CDs.
Just at the moment, they're all working.
So I have Ghostmaster,Return Of The King, and Battlefield-Secret Weapons of WWII, running just now.
This is unprecedented.
Anyone else with my 'on and off' results ?
If you have no trouble with them, share the info.

Thanks tigstah,
I think I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what ( and why just 2 or 3 times a year ? ).
For now everything works but the next edition is not guaranteed.
It's driving me crazy!!!

I have the same problem. Most games I dont have any problems with. On the latest disk, the XIII demo ran just fine. Return of the King however, froze my system. It seems pretty random and it may just be the occasional corrupted file on the disk.

I spoke too soon, XIII isn't running.
I'm starting to hold a major grudge against "The Vede".
It looks like Alaron56 is right.
