Benchmark
Hey, I just built a new system with a AMD XP 2500 Barton @ 1.83Ghz, 512 ram, ATI Radeon 9600, using a Asrock K7S8X motherboard and a SiS 748 chipset, running windows XP. My problem is that after running several benchmarks using 3DMark2001 SE and 3DMark2003 my results seem very low. On 3DMark2001 SE I received a 8484fps and on 3DMark2003 I received a 2500fps. Please help.

3DMark2003 requires more power to run so it will result in slower fps.

I realize that I am going to receive lower fps from 3DMark2003, but I was expecting to get much higher fps on both 2001 and 2003 tests.

I don't think I would worry about it until you actually are looking for better performance out of your games and such. I got about the same scores... maybe 9k-9500 but nothing to even be close to braggin about since some people with the same setup get 13-14k... but until my games start running slow on the settings I like, I don't plan on trying to fix it.
