Madden 2004 Random Crash...

Madden 2004 is acting really weird. Sometimes it will run with no problems and other times it will just up and crash right in the middle of the game. I have not had any other programs or games crash either. This is kinda crazy. I am wondering if it has to do with DX 9 and my video card. Dunno. Any ideas guys???
