Please Help
I posted a thread about a week ago about this, with not much help, so I'll try again. I recently built a system, 512ram, radeon 9600, amd xp 2500 barton, with a SiS 963 chipset, and running windows xp professional. After running 3dmark 2001 and 3dmark 2003, I was very confused and disappointed with my scores. On 2001 I scored 8484 and on 2003 I scored 2401. I have updated my chipset drivers along with my video drivers to catalyst 3.7.

What is the exact model of the video card? Is it a 128Mb or 256Mb? I ask because the 9600 256Mb is said to be a very poor performer with slow ram.

The card is a 9600 pro sapphire edition, 128. I was thinking that it possible could be a deffective card, since I am getting such low benchmark scores. I also am unable to play americas army operations, although my setup far surpasses the system requirements. The thought that the card could be deffective actually came from the americas army tech support. When I try to launch the game I get this error message:
No Label OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600) CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 1835 MHz with 511MB RAM Video: RADEON 9600 SERIES (6378) General protection fault!
