Duke Nukem????
Hi All,
I was looking a PC games at a couple different stores this weekend and I notice a ton of "pre-order" game boxes / titles. It reminded me that the "new" Duke Nukem hasn't been talked about for a while, so: Anybody know when the new Duke Nukem is comming out??? TIA TwoRails

man they have gone from engine to engine to engine and its been rewritten over and over.....its close to vaporware now. but as the ol saying goes "when its done" |

Ya Duke Nukem Forever has become somewhat of a legend/joke in the gaming world. Many people are making jokes about HL2 coming out the same time as DNF. Somehow I doubt it will come out anytime soon if at all. wasn't it expected out in 99?

Not sure it was '99, but I thought it was supposed to come out a long time ago....
- I had fun playing "The Manhatten Project" but that was not what I've been waiting sooooo long for.

Duke Nukem Forever will never come out. It will become folklore and anytime someone asks when a game comes out and someone says "the same time as Duke Nukem Forever", you will know it will be years away or may never come out at all. It'll be funny if/when they try to release it b/c ppl will think it's another joke and won't believe anyone. The world will probably stop spinning and there will be world peace when DNF comes out next month/year/decade/century... who knows whats goin on with that game except that a lot of people are anxious to play it since the previous game (DN 3D) was a blast to play.

Well TwoRails, you're a step ahead of me cuz I hadn't even heard a new one was supposed to come out! I think I live under a rock sometimes.
 Y'know, being a NASCAR fan, I just noticed something. In NASCAR, when the driver wrecks and can't finish the race they call it a DNF (Did Not Finish). Duke Nukem Forever's initials are DNF too. Maybe Duke Nukem Forever was never meant to be finished cuz it's a DNF, y'think?

I say DNF will come out some time... Duke is 3DRealms' flagship title, if it doesn't come out 3DRealms would be pretty much dead.
