Hi,
I bought Morrowind for the PC a few months ago, it is one of the largest games I have ever played. The story is massive and there are too many quests for me to keep track of. The journal does not give you enough detailed info for some of the quests, I find myself getting lost forgeting about some quests and completeing them by accident. Plus some of my skills have maxed out and I was wondering what it takes to actually beat the game. Do you have to do all of the quests? What skills do you need to beat Dragoth? If you have beaten it, how long did it take you? Is there a time limit to the game or can you take as long as you want to build up skills and then defeat him? Just wondering because I have devoted a large amount of time to the game, wondered were I am in the game, and what I have to go through to beat the game. Any info would be great, thanks. |

You cant actually beat the game, even after you finish the main quest, theres still tons of side quests. Ive done most the side quests, you cant do them all because some have you kill people that you would need for other quests. Im not sure how long it took me but i defeated dragoth and became the nevarine for the first morrowind, all my stats are maxed, i got both expansions but i havent started bloodmoon yet. There is no time limit it just keeps going and going. But once you become the nevarine which is like a god there it gets boring because your stats are pretty much maxed and you got the best armor and items doing simple little quests after that are just too easy.

Many steps have to be taken in order to face Dagoth UR. You have to be accepted as Hortator by the 3 Great Houses and the 4 Ashlanders Tribes . Then you go meet Vivec. He hands you the Wraithguard. If your maxed in all skills then you head off to Ghostgate to retrieve the Keening knife at the citadel Odrosal. The Sunder hammer is in the Vemynal citadel. Then you can go off and kill Dagoth Ur.
Very intrecate game and without the book you have to take many notes in order to keep track. Heres a link that might help you along . http://www.buttersky.com/morrowind/ good luck eh Keep asking questions if ya get stuck.

I have it on xbox and pc, but I beat it on Xbox. I had all my skills and levels maxed out, pick the Atronarch for your sign, it is great. I made a custom class and I was Imperial. I completed all of the quests, the ones that were worth it, I may have missed out on some little escort the girl to a town quests, but those arent fun. I would say the game took me at least 100 hours, I played it hardcore style all spring break and more because I had injured me knee. It is a truly great game, though it gets way to easy midway throught, I thought it was alot more fun when it was incredibly hard in the beginning, when you are like a little fish in the whole ocean.

True enough coolcps. I found that odd too. once ya get some cash rolling in and do some serious training then you get so powerfull (over 50 in stats) that you basiclly just go anywhere you want with no worries.

Yeah. most of my stats are above 50 and I find it too easy and really boring now. I bought the game 4 months ago and now I actually hate playing it because it is easy and the story line is slow.
Oh well I have a friend who likes the game, I will give it to him. |
