Sim city 4 help
Apparently I did the same tactics I do for Sim city 3 when building my town from scratch. But after two attempts-I see that I'm running for senator. Help. Any help on making a city from scratch? Thanks

Just start off with a power station, a small residential and commercial area, and quite a big medium industrial area, with a few fire stations.
you dont need any hospitals, police, schools, trains ect from the start. just roads. it should start to build up quick, and then you slowly introduce more houses and industrial (never light industrial its a waste of time, space and money), and commercial if they want it. Then put in some police, and maybe trains if you want.
