writing a game

Does anyone know where i can find a good quality book or tutorial (idc if i have to pay) on writing 3D games in C or C++

Try amazon.com or barnes and noble, do u have alot of C++ programming experience? I took a few C++ classes, (i was a computer programming major but switched) and my friend is a computer programming major and after 3 years he's finally just writing 2d maze game/programs.

It also takes advanced math to create 3d engines.

I dont know much about that but couldn't he buy the source of currently made 3d engine and build off that? or are they too expensive?

Or he could steal the source code of Half-Life 2, I hear that pretty easy to get LoL.

You need to know all types of math, mainly alot of math logic.

well you can use a program like fastwrite for engines im just looking for a good tutorial of C and C++ language

I have a close friend in Civil Engineering at our local university and he and his friends do programming for hobby. I asked and he says you have to have alot off calculus, mainly.
