I wish I could play it that long. My game is too unstable to play. It's starting to become more frustrating than fun. I just hate it when I'm just getting into it, everything's going great, and the game is saved. Then it just dissapears with no error and my saved game does not work.
I am desparate for help with this problem. I have reinstalled DX9, video card drivers, and the game itself many times. Microsoft says it could be my Asus A7V333 mother board with the VIA KT333 chipset. I don't see how that is possible. I shouldn't have to buy a new mother board to play a game.

Rise of Nations is a great game, but I hate how similar all the games like it are. They aren't making many changes to give the games much of their own identity.

How would you change it ammo? Make a game with futuristic weapons and put you on some random planet fighting against large gophers? That'd be different for ya.

I have a lot of ideas for changing it and I will after I get my BA in graphic design. I have tons of ideas. I'll make sure it changes. I might even add the giant gophers DragonNOA1.

The wildest thing aboot RoN is that an average game will last 3 hours or more and it'll feel like 20 minutes.

I think you summed it up well Propaine. But the same thing that makes it great also is probably the worst thing about it, after 3 hours you have only beaten one enemy and completed only one map. Fun, but long, but did i mention fun?

We should hook up this weekend and play a "PCMech Conquer the World" type game. I only played Sauron so far and Im sure he'd be up for another match. If we could get 4 or 6 guys together it would be cool.
