Cannot Adjust Settings

In Combat Flight Simulator 3 I cannot adjust any settings at all. I can change the resolutuion but anything that has a slider on it cannot be moved. In fact, the slider isn't even their untill I put the mouse over it. I have to keep moving the mouse and it flickers but the slider does not move. The graphics are on the lowest setting and everything looks horrible. Any ideas? I have the newest drivers for my video card.

Here are my system specs
