Anyone recommend Dungeon Siege?

I played the Dungeon Siege demo and the game seems pretty fun but I've never really played/bought an RPG before. Has anyone here played it or heard anything bad about it?

I played the demo also.

What I took from it was its perty cool but seemed to drag a bit. Lack of adventure, it always seemed to point you in the right direction. I like games where you need to figure out where to go and what to do next.

If you like RPGs I recomend the baulders gate series or some any of the might and magic collection.

i think i'll end up getting it when it's a little cheaper. you can get the full game and expansion for 35$ @newegg. not bad, i'll wait until it's a little cheaper. good, beautiful game though, i like it alot.

Short game.

I played it a little bit in a gaming expo, about a year ago and was not impressed. Neverwinter Nights is way, way better.

Ya, i thought that DS was a great game, but it was short. I finished it in around 25 hours, but then there's the new expansion pack out, so that might add another 20 or so hours. There's also multiplayer which seems fun, but i never really got into it.
