Quesitonable KOTOR performance
At first, the game runs fine no matter the resolution, but then the frame rates begin to bog down significantly after a couple minutes of play. I of course then try to tone down my resolution and performance improves, but bogs down yet again a couple minutes afterwards. Switching to a higher resolution then allows the games to run faster, but the same thing happens; my framerate slips and the game slows way down. What gives? Is anyone else having this problem? I'm running a barton 2500XP at 2.2 ghz with a radeon 9600 pro o/c'ed. Turning on/off frame buffer effects has no effect on this occurence, nor does AA or AF settings. Change of texture settings also do not help. I've alos applied the 1.01 beta patch, yet the same problem plagues my game play.

Try using a different video card driver or try un OC'n your card or maybe your card is overheating? I dunno, just some thoughts.....

I had the same problem with the frame rates boggin way down no matter what i changed in the settings, i got aa at 4x and anistropy at 4x with vsync and buffer effects on at 800x600. I turned shadows and grass off too and then it ran perfect but this is also the same time i left taris so i dont know if its the settings changes I made or that it was just taris bogging it down. Also im using the latest omega drivers.
