Deus Ex: Invisible War Time

Time to try the demo of the game that people have been saying is going to be soooo great. The original was definately a great, revolutionary game. I guess the new one is good too but so many people have such high-standards of it that some people are disappointed. Well, try it for yourself, and then report back.

FilePlanet

And here's a review @Gamespot

Hey Dragon, have you tried this site?

http://www.gamerankings.com/

It presents all of the reviews of various games for all platforms. The average rating for Deux Ex- from 6 reviews is 85.*%. Looks good.

Good site, I'm bookmarking it now. But if you read down the reviews, one site gave it a 70%, which is good, but seemed to dis the game throughout the review. Even another person posted at the end of the article saying the game was terrible for him with a sniper shot to the head alerting no one. But you see what I mean where some aren't so happy but I guess it's a good game nonetheless. You can't please everyone.

I am still wondering how they managed to make a sequel for a game that had three very different endings.

ive played the demo over and over again, its a great game, the level of detail and interaction is amazing, its like morrowind only 10x more action and less errand running. The graphics are very nice too.

Very true. I've started playing through Deus Ex again a few days ago, and it's still as addictive as ever. It's the best game of all time, in my opinion. One thing that cracks me up, is that whoever does Simons' voice also obviously does voices for some of the bums in the game. It's hilarious to talk to one of 'em, when he sounds like the distant cousin that no one in the Simons' family talks about. "Why couldn't you have aspirations of world domination like your cousin?"

Maybe it has three different beginnings!

Simmons is one of my favorite villians.

What part of the game are you currently in, AWD? Did you kill Anna Navarre at the airplane or did you prefer to fight her at the UNATCO HQ later on?

Unhappy This is one of the games I planned on buying...

Someone who's played the whole thing, not just the demo, tell me if it's worth paying $50 for ?
It doesn't have to be perfect, though that would be nice, but it will need to run on my system ( video card will return to 9500 pro in a few weeks ), the one in the sig.

I've beaten the game once already, and I'm playing through it again. I started about a week ago, but due to a 'bug', I had to start my game over. I had reached Hong Kong, and as I was going to meet Tracer Tong, I went into the hidden passage behind the painting, and it closed behind me. Now, there's no way to open it from the inside, and it's not even a targetable door, so the unlock code wouldn't work. So, I started over, and right now I'm on the sub base level, where you have to scuttle the ship carrying the Grey Death virus. I always kill Navarre in the airplane by putting a LAM on the wall before I talk to Lebedev. It's a lot easier then fighting her, then or later. As for Gunther: I always have Reyes stay at UNATCO instead of coming to Hong Kong, so he will show up sometime later with Gunther's kill switch.

I bought DSIW, and it's buggy as hell. Be forewarned.

Review @PCGAMER gave it an 83%. And it stated that there were many bugs and compatibility errors.

Too bad, I was hoping for at least a worthy sequel.
