video card improvement?

hi, i would like to know if there is anything i can do to improve my video card for the game half life. it plays fairly good but i think there might be some improvements i can make. i have the latest drivers for the card i just downloaded them from nvida web site recently. i use the open gl mode at it works. but it just dont seem to work good enough, are there possibly other open gl drivers i could load for it other than what came from nvidia? is there maybe a program that i could download to use with this card ? like wicked gl. i have that program but it was used for a different card and i dont know if it works for this one. is there some console tweaks i could use to make this card perform better? is there a way to bind just one key for a weapon. i want to bind a key for just the tau cannon. anyone that answers my post, thank you .

Okay hold it.
Are we talking framerates here ?
Do you have an image quality problem ?
For HL a Geforce 2 should do it all unless you have another problem like not enough ram or, in a multiplayer mod, a slow internet connection.
Why do you think it's not good enough?

minimum requirements for HL should be lower than a GF2
but if you want better frame rates or image quality i dont think anything will help you other than just changing the settings.
the only way i think you could incerease your vid card performance is by using drivers.but those drivers have little or no effect really.

i dont know if you can do this on a GF2 but the older cards, there were spaces to add memory......err......mabye yuor carc might not have that.
