How big is the download? Does it just add several more maps to battle within?

Well, at 540mb, that would put my 28.8 dial up connection to work for... lemme figure here... about 2 1/4 days. Looks like I'll be getting that from a DSL buddy, eh?

It's not worth it...unless you work with utmost precision in the sky. Those that do rule the servers, and those on the ground beg for mercy. I regularly finished with 3x as many deaths as kills, went back to BF and the results swapped.

I prefer regualar BF alot more also ATW, same situation with me. I think that most of the aircraft in DC are pretty cheap, plus BF has a lot more polished feel.

Ok iv played DC quite alot now and i feel the smae the planes and helicopters are extremely hard to fly and the people who can pilot them are pro's
But its fun to play with the different weapons and stuff and attempt to fly the helicopter but kill everyone inside |

I can fly the helis...or at least I think I can. But I can't hit anything, so I'm essentially just a flying target.

I can rain hell with the copters sometimes, but other times i end up spinning out of control and just bail.

Practice with the troop transport , its alot easier to navigate. Keep note that the chopper is more or less used just to get kills , if ya wanna help your teammates out then bolt around on a Hummvee or a tank to get the flag. What I also like to do is at the start is get on a jet , fly to the flag ,eject and claim it. Thats alot more valuable to your team then killing 50 enemis.

Im good for sunday all day (working saturday eh)
Last time I hosted with coolcps and Dave37644 I went a bit too far and they were lagging. I put 32 AI against us . But if you or annyone else wanst to host with no AI , it shoudnt give me any probs. Or we could just sneak in an empty Gamespy server.

i usually play on a server called "phule's company". it's a good 14 player server with good rules (no camping until all flags are capped etc) and low ping. i'll get on there around 10am cst sunday if anyone wants to join.
if anyone knows any other good public servers we could play on that would work also. |
