Voodoo2 WIndows 95 No color HELP!!!!!
Ok Ok, I am at my friends house "right now" and i need to know how to do something... I just earsased ATI drivers for his computer and tried to install a voodoo2 card inside. It worked but windows is not trying to find the new device? i got the drivers needed to instlall it but its not going? I already went to add new hardware SEVERAL TIMES and its not showing up? any suggestions, or answers would be nice? Thanx...

Do you have a driver CD for the card? If you do, just try running the driver installation feature.
Does the new card or the old card now show up in the device manager? Try removing the display drivers from the device manager, reboot, and see if it detects the new card. If not, try going into the control panel and running the add/remove hardware application.

You see the problem is that I dont have a Driver CD i just bought the card for 2 bucks, works just fine its just that dumbass windows 95 doesnt want to find the new hardware, I got the drivers from driverguid.com and it installs first by windows detecting it, and u have to send it to the directory where u have unzipped the files to and it installs BUT! Its not finding new hardware, I've erased the ati drivers, hes only getting 16 colors, (colors!) and I've tried FIND NEW HARDWARE in the control panel but it jsut doesnt find it? I need more help, if need more info just ask and ill give u what i can...
