Condition Zero, where you.........

Hey, you remember Condition-Zero? It was supposed to be released a year ago then a 3 months ago, then a month ago then a week ago. According to Gamespot it's coming out in March. Will CZ ever be released?

(By the way this isn't really my first post, you used to be called Pimpmaster)

No one has any opinion on CS:Condition Zero? I have to say I'm a little surprised.

I thought I saw box for it on tv or somewhere. Maybe a review on it too. But I never really got into CS and don't care about it (lol).
There is a review in the latest PCGAMER, and they gave it a 72% b/c of dated graphics and no story at all. Doesn't sound like a winner to me.

Well it is based off of the original Half-Life engine. The only real problem with it is you have to have Steam in order to download it. But you can't help wondering why Valve isn't releasing it now during the Christmas season, especially when the full version is completed.

well this is what i can say.

i was a CS freak! back about 3 years ago. i played in CAl leagues and other such as : cal-i, cal-m, ugs, val, and a couple others.

cs was cool untill the millions and millions of others that were not into computers games, just played it because the game was catchy and no console had a better catchier one (this years 2003 cathy game halo, for xbox but not nearly as catchy as CS was on computer)
people are intrigued be pvp games and like the adventure of having teams and killing others. there is a sense of pride when you defeat your friends. and with pc arcades jumping into the game and poping up just about everywhere, or at least in my neighborhood, the game only grew. there must have been about 5-6 at one point within 3 miles (southern cali). 2 buks an hour and play away!

now condition zero would have been a HUGE hit if realeased 1st quarter of 2003. but if valve goes ahead and realeses it 1st quarter of 2004, its graphics wont be able to keep up. i mean look at the games out or coming out. Doom 3, UNreal Tournament 2004; i mean those engines will kick the CRAP out of condition-Zero. Valve screwed up and scred up big. Condition Zero could have been game of the year. people would have bought it because of how great CS was. now its on old technology and everyone knows.

read all the reviews before you go and blow your 50 bucks on it.

Yeah, I think Valves only choice right now is to release it as a bargain mod, kind of like Day of Defeat, and hope alot of people download it.

As fas as I know "CS" means computer science. Might be nice if you spell out what CS means so that everyone can learn something?

Thanks

Yes everyone here hates Computer Science and hopes that they never have that for a major in college again. It's been so long since they last updated that course that they might as well not update it at all and just sell the Computer Science books in the bargain bins. Computer Science is for losers. Geez, lol.

Yeah I heard CZ is nothing more than a bot match for Single Player. And it is probably just the same as 1.6 for multiplayer. If it is more than $20 it's a waste. Just play the free 1.6.
