LOW FPS while playing CS
When I try to play CS I get an FPS of 4 which is very low and crappy...Anyone have an idea how to increase that.....And how to fix it...Also that is cauding me to lag...So Anyonw any ideas.....

Well here they are,, I have a pentium 2 128 Mb of Ram and Matrox Graphic Card 4.0....Does that help with anything?

Pitch the matrox for an nvidia gf4ti or ati 9500 or higher card, and you should do fine in cs. The matrox cards are nice for image quality, but are what you want the enemy to use as a vid card when you play online. The card just can't play the game.

Before you buy a new card, you better make sure that your computer is compatible. Also to get a better frame rate...drop the resolution, and take off any special lighting effects or anythign extra.

Yeah I don't think CS has any lighting effects either, but just making sure that there wasn't somethign he could tone down in the video card properties like Blakhart said.

To play CS all you need is like a Gefroce. It doest demand much AT ALL!!! I have the king of all crap cards, a 32mb DDR Radeon 7000, and it can run CS at full resolution.
