I am not sure whether that game is DX9 but It seems that your GeForce 4MX 420 card is not powerful enough to run that game. That is a very weak card and I wouldn't be surprised if it were time for an upgrade.

I had a similar problem with Max Payne 2. Try setting the game features to the lowest levels and see if it helps.

Did you get it working? If so, are all the settings at their lowest? I plan on getting the game but I have a 4200, hopefully it works.

The game requires shaders and your card doesn't have them.
You're stuck here.
Either the card or the game.
Note : I consider NVidia's promotion of the MX cards to have been deceptive.
I can't promise a class action suit but the company deserves one.

I agree half-heartedly Pam, while they were released at the same time as the other cards by nVidia that had shaders, if anyone would have done their HW they would have found out why they are so much cheaper. But then again, to you think your average guy is looking out for cards with shaders and T&L and all that other jargon? But then again, would they be playing the latest games? Possibly.

I have, frequently, wanted to hit the average guys upside the head, but this isn't their real problem.
The misleading is based on the fact that most people think of PCs as appliances.
It's a mistake, but it's been capitalized on by OEMs.
You cannot buy PCs as you buy stoves or TVs and it's getting there ( dimwits money spends as well ) but it's taking too long.
I do my best to shorten the learning curve.
I also know that any OEM who does the scam ( like all of them ) is not to be trusted.
The obviously, these guys are just starting to find out about pc games ( don't get me started on consoles ) and they get this drek.
The people who are doing this just figured out the gap and are exploiting it.
It has everything to say for the immeadiate bottom line and nothing to say for the future.
What I do know?
This is shortsighted !
