Question

Could anyone please give me a feed back about this
AGP Video Card. One of my friends want me to buy and instal
it into his Computer. I've read it's epecs, but I want to
know actual experience about it's good and bad side of it?
I don't know it this is compatible with A Duron CPU or any Socket A Mobo in the market.

I don't know if this is the chipset: "PowerVR Series 3 "KYRO" GAME Arcade with 32MB or 64MB Memory"- Support Optional NTSC/PAL TV-Out with flicker filter. 3D graphics Performance.

Hmmm, to be quite honest I've never heard of it. What do the reviews say? How does it compare pricewise to the ATI's and Nvidia's offerings? I'd stick to ATI or Nvidia to ensure compatibility with slot a and socket a boards, unles of course this one is guaranteed to work with them. HTH

I agree with Floppyman jeresimo. I to have never heard of such a card. Tell you friend to stick with the brand names like ATI, and NVIDIA because it might save him or her some trouble in the long run.

Hi jeresimo,

Check out this review of that chipset:

Looks like it did better than the TNT2 Ultra.

Hope that helps.

Thanks to all. I see that it does better in the TEST than
the TNT2, but I suggested to my friend that he buys
a NVDIA Geforce2 MX Vid Card which is cheaper and has
a higher RAMDAC and got a T&L too. The Kyro has lesser and has no T&L. I hope he listens to me though.
